ABSXchange was an end-to-end solution provider for structured finance data, analytics and modeling that I founded after identifying an opportunity to fill a gap in the European Structured Finance market that was previously uncovered by Bloomberg or other leading analytics sources. I raised funds from outside investors, established a partnership with a technology provider to execute the product vision, and built and led a globally distributed team that included 25+ FTEs in the US, 12+ software developers in Mumbai, and a London representative. The product was a success on adopted on trading floors of all major investment banks, leading to the sale of the business to S&P in 2007. Show less
