As the HOD for the Sponsorship department, I moved my team to collect funds for DGPharmakon, the multimedia team of Persatuan Sains Farmasi (PSF), a student-led organization of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Universiti Sains Malaysia. DGPharmakon is responsible for creating an annual school magazine which includes the reports & media for all events held by the PSF. DGPharmakon created an eBook for this year's magazine. The sponsors were entitled to recognition in the magazine and on DGPharmakon's social media page based on the amount sponsored. In return, we helped the sponsors to advertise their company’s promotional materials and events on our official social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Show less

It was a great experience here at Tealive Ampang Point as a tearista. It was definitely an eye-opening journey for me as I embarked on the Food & Beverage world. From serving customers, to preparing ingredients of high quality drinks and becoming the cashier to promote the latest edition drinks and membership cards, I've learned to become a team people and elevate my marketing skills, as well as polishing my entrepreneurship skills. Since my last internship at Teach For Malaysia, I dreamed of interning at a healthcare centre to introduce myself to the healthcare world. To be an aspiring pharmacist, I felt the urge to experience pharmacy myself through internship at a clinic or a pharmacy store. Since the qualification I had was only SPM at that time, I looked around for the opportunity nearby and glad to have met a kind young doctor named Dr Soo Shi Bing at Klinik Life Care. He had provided me a valuable opportunity to intern as a clinic assistant, where he would teach me himself about ailments and the medicines when there wasn't any patient around. The two weeks internship at the diverse working environment had shaped me to be efficient and acquire new skills quickly. It also had helped me realize that my passion for Chemistry can be chanelled through pharmacy and its integrated courses. By the time I kicked start my A-Level one week after the internship, I had a firm decision on which subjects to choose in college to further my degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy. Show less
