Checking edge preparation of plates and pipes as per approved drawings. * Witness stage wise inspection of pressure vessels, piping fabrication, erection works with respect to approved drawings, isometric and for root alignment, root face, root gap. * Perform visual inspection before, during and after welded activities. * Visual inspection of weld seam free from weld defects and excess reinforcement. * NDT coordination with sub-contractor and review test reports and maintain records. * Monitor welding and Welder’s status log book and performance. * Conducting Fit-up, flush grinding, and Reinforcement Pad Inspection. * Co-ordinate with QC inspection team and third party inspection Agency. * Co-ordination with client inspection agencies at different stages of fabrication of the vessels and structures. * Preparation of final package (QC Dossier) for submission to client along with stage inspection reports, weld visual inspection reports. * Responsibility for quality control inspection for all pressure vessels, piping and structural supports. * Daily reporting to the QA/QC manager regarding the work progress and daily activities.
