  The journey in Taj Television started in Oct 09 as Assistant Vice President – Sales, with demerger of Ten ports channels from Zee Turner Ltd and separate distribution network was set up. Was instrumental in creating a team for North 1 zone (5 states HP, JK, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana) and leading the zone to launch new channels and achieve subscription growth numbers. From April 11 was given the responsibility of handling the Strategy for the distribution network for both Digital and Analogue markets where in preparation of Annual Business Plan, market analysis, pricing, new product launch trade promotions, team incentives and International markets ( Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) was under the portfolio. The company also increased the channel offerings from 2 channels to 5 channels during the said period. Post May 12 was promoted to Deputy Vice President – Sales and was given the responsibility of turning around South Zone market as the same was showing negative revenue growth year on year and was able to turn it around with resounding numbers. Based on the performance in South zone was given charge of heading the Retail vertical (Non MSO and rural Customers) in year 13 14 for entire India to lead a team of 18 executives including Zonal Heads and State Head.
