I was selected as one of the 50 students for the 2020 South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (SAC- IAWJ) Law Student Mentorship Programme. Under this mentorship program, I was fortunate to be mentored by a Regional Magistrate and shadowed her on different occasions. During this time I also shadowed different prosecutors and legal aid attorneys. This program helped me to experience how law plays out in real life.
