Responsibilities:- leading a Polish-American team “FiX it FeliX”,- developing a mobile application in React Native,- working on the integration between React Native app and AWS Lex chatbot,- communication with stakeholders, and field engineers.The 6-member "FiX it FeliX" team won the NeXTech Challenge firstly within GE Healthcare business, and then within all GE businesses. The delivered product was a virtual mobile assistant "FeliX". It was built as a mobile application written in React Native, which was modularly connected with a chatbot component created in AWS Lex cognitive service. Thanks to our it, a Field Engineer can interact with "FeliX" by voice. It gives the feeling of almost normal conversation and provides hands-free capabilities, like verbal debriefing.The solution was then investigated by dedicated Digital Field Services team to find out the possibilities to scale it and implement in production.NeXTech Challenge was a 12-week challenge, where the organizers (GE CIO) were looking for creating a minimum-viable product (MVP) using one or more of the emerging technologies (i.e. AI) to address a critical challenge facing GE and Digital Technology in the coming years. GE Healthcare Challenge description - Automated/Hands-Free Service Debriefing Identify non-keyboard based capabilities utilizing conversational systems, AI, Augmented Reality, and/or wearables while maintaining compliance to regulatory standards to ease and automate 10,000+ workers in the debriefing process of over 5MM service events throughout the globe.
