I was Kuang’s schoolmate for 3 years while we were studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore, and we have stayed in the same apartment for more than 5 years as a flatmate. Kuang is truly a hands-on person, who loves to construct and repair the computer, electronic and hobby stuff. He has the passion of making faulty things apart and fix them. He was always helping to repair all sorts of household electrical and electronic gears. He is enthusiastic about amateur radio and radio-controlled model planes. He participated in the aero-modelling and amateur radio club and did lots of volunteer works over there. After both of us went back to China, he was worked with my team as an electronic design contractor to design and develop the Internet of Things (IoT) smart hanger for fashion shops. Through the collaboration, it was not just again proved his electronic design profession including his expertise in microcontroller programming, TCP/IP networking, smart battery, physical product prototyping and development. He was also well demonstrated his skills in the project, time and supply-chain management and document control, with always positive and can-do attitude. Any client would be happy with Kuang - such a smart and trusty guy.

I worked next to Kuang at Otago Polytechnic for a year as I was completing my masters degree. Whilst our thesis topics were different, Kuang was great in bouncing ideas off and helping solve problems. Always willing to offer any assistance when required. In addition to being an engineer, Kuang has great knowledge of photography with an excellent eye for picture composition. As an experienced graphic designer and photographer myself I asked for Kuang for assistance on a photo assignment and was extremely happy with the photographs and the high level of professionalism during the shot. Kuang is an excellent communicator and problem solver.
