This position of Processing Clerk requires a review to ensure that each financed deal has the proper tag, title and processing fees assessed, as well as all other required documentation included prior to printing and sending to the finance team for closing. Knowledge of state regulations, a great attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are key to success in this position.

As Receptionist for this establishment, I was the initial point of contact for incoming sales, service and retail parts calls while also greeting and directing walk-in customers. • Oct 2013 - Aug 2019

As a Claim Associate I have constant contact with individuals who are experiencing a loss. The definition of loss is something that is sudden and accidental. No one means for them to happen. And certainly, no one wants to deal with the circumstances. That is where I come in. I handle calls from customers on both sides of the loss; our insureds and claimants. All customers are treated with the same level of respect, caring and sense of urgency to ensure that they know they matter. It is important that they understand what their benefits are, how the process works from start to finish, and that we set realistic expectations for timelines. This is something that I do every day, but the customers may only have the experience once in a lifetime. Taking a moment to ensure that each customer understands the process on the initial call allows me to process their claim promptly and efficiently, while also alleviating the stressful part of the experience they've just had.

    • Manager
      • Jun 2009 - Oct 2013

My husband and I had owned a business in Frederick for ten years and it was tragically destroyed as the result of an attempted robbery and fire in 2007. After much searching for our next business venture, we decided to bring a franchise restaurant to Maryland that not only provided excellent quality food, but that also was built on giving back to the community. In 2009 we opened the first location of Firehouse Subs in Maryland. Through an extensive local marketing program, our location reached #1 status in the United States on opening, and over $1M dollars in sales within 2 years. We were also able to donate over $20K in lifesaving equipment to local fire stations. In addition to the excitement of this community involvement, we have also had the pleasure of employing a team of up to 25 diverse employees who have provided excellent customer service to our customers and helped us build our stellar reputation.

      • Aug 2006 - Jun 2009

The position of Teller allowed me to build relationships with members of our community while completing their transactions with speed and accuracy, and also keeping them informed of new opportunities for additional financial services that might enhance their banking experience. Professionalism and courtesy were necessary elements of this position to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and trust which is critical to success in this industry. A working knowledge of Banking Regulations, as well as attention to detail allowed me to achieve awards each quarter for Perfection in Accuracy, as well as the Annual Presidential Award for Excellence in 2007 and 2008.

      • Sep 1996 - Aug 2002

In my capacity of Executive Assistant for President of Sales and Marketing for this major telecom company I provided direct support to the senior level executive, handling all scheduling, correspondence and travel. I was also responsible for supporting the entire North American Sales team that reported directly to the President of Sales and Marketing. This required constant contact with all regional sales managers to compile sales presentations, weekly budget information, and sales projections. A promotion to Marketing Assistant allowed me to focus more closely on sales and tradeshow presentations and coordination of events.
