I've known Kshitij for over two years now and remember him as a hardworking and passionate team member of mine. He is a very smart and active guy who loves to volunteer and take initiatives. Since I was directly managing Kshitij I've closely observed his commendable managing skills. He will be an asset to whichever team he joins. I highly recommend Kshitij for all sorts of leadership and team building roles. Wishing him a bright future ahead!

      1) Did the performance survey of all the heat Exchangers of CDU (Crude Distillate Unit)2 . 2) Selectively the Heat exchangers present on the SKO (Superior Kerosene Oil) side, HSD (High Sulfur Diesel) side, and JBO( Jute Based Oil) side. 3) Calculated the efficiency of the aforementioned heat exchangers by taking into the consideration the inlet and outlet temperatures of the heat exchangers and the coolers respectively. 4) In one of the cases, the efficiency of one of the heat exchangers turned out to be more than one (which should not happen) because the inlet temperature of the that particular heat exchanger was greater than its outlet temperature. 5) Gave the suggestions on how the rectify the above mistake and considered other factors like fouling factor which may have led to a faulty working mechanism of the heat exchanger preceding to the heat exchanger whose efficiency turned out to be more than one. Think India – A pan India initiative to bring together the best talents of the country and to infuse in them a ‘Nation First’ attitude, aimed at developing the nationalistic spirit and inspiring young India to be of service to the society. It is a platform for the “Leaders of Tomorrow” where they deliberate on issues of national importance, raise their concerns and offer innovative solutions to the problems faced by India. Think India felt the need to bind the students with an Indian nationalistic string to harness this part of national treasure in furthering our aim of national reconstruction. Students from IISc, IIMB, NIMHANS and NLSIU joined together to create a joint forum for the students from premier institutes of India in 2006. A formal forum took place at the Art of Living Ashram, Bengaluru in 2007. Show less

      1) Worked in Naptha Cracker Unit of IOCL Panipat which is the largest refinery across India. 2) To measure how well a turbine is performing we can look at its isentropic efficiency. This compares the actual performance of the turbine with the performance that would be achieved by an ideal, isentropic, turbine. 3) When calculating this efficiency, heat lost to the surroundings is assumed to be zero. The starting pressure and temperature are the same for both the actual and the ideal turbines, but at turbine exit the energy content specific enthalpy for the actual turbine is greater than that for the ideal turbine because of irreversibility in the actual turbine. 4) The specific enthalpy is evaluated at the same pressure for the actual and ideal turbines in order to give a good comparison between the two. 5) Calculated The Efficiency Of Steam Turbine using the real time data provided to us which turned out to be 93.7 %.
