I have known Ksenia for approximately six years. We took several graduate courses together on fiber optics communication and advance photonic components for telecomm application. In my opinion, Ksenia is a brilliant, hardworking, creative and energetic researcher. I would rank her research skills amongst the top five Ph.D. candidates who have come through the department of electronics at Carleton in the past six years. She is an excellent team player who not only possesses good communication skills but also leadership quality. I am pretty sure she will go very far in her career.
