  Annotated the genome of a new bacterial species through genome alignments using BLAST/NCBI and BASys (Bacterial Annotation System). Created a pipeline of programs for the bacterial annotation problem at hand using PubMed and other search engines. Created a genomic database using BLAST, MYSQL and Excel as well as visual representation of the genome using Artemis.
