What comes to my mind when I think of Krystal is: people oriented, clarity in communication, fairness and compassion. I have had the pleasure of working with Krystal for three years and in those years, I have been impressed with her people-oriented style in Human resource management, her ability to communicate with much needed clarity and an amazing adeptness in conflict resolution. Above all, I have observed repeatedly, Krystal’s compassionate responses to issues of the well-being of her coworkers. She has helped to effectively encourage creative informal team building activities within the agency. As a program leader, Krystal has my highest recommendation, she will always be an asset to any organization.

I had the opportunity to work with Krystal while at Madison Cortland ARC. Krystal excelled in recruitment and training and was overall a very professional and skilled generalist. Due to her outstanding work she was given the responsibility to oversee the Human Resources function for one of our supported counties. Krystal is caring, compassionate, and I very much enjoyed working with her. She was an asset to the HR Department of Madison Cortland ARC!

I also worked on a comprehensive training program which matches key competencies with training programs in an easy to use web platform, and am developing in person trainings for staff and supervisors to increase knowledge and skills in multiple areas. I conducted all workplace investigations and provide guidance throughout performance management and evaluation processes. I provided guidance and assistance to one administrative staff in administration of the HRIS and payroll systems and general HR function, supervised two regular staff who run the front desk, and provided supervision and learning opportunities to HR Interns from the local university, in addition to serving as a resource to all management staff and administrative staff in organizing and developing systems for more effective work. I have also provided consulting/ mentoring assistance to another non-profit in general HR, in addition to doing a complete revision of their employee handbook.
