My research interests are perception-action coupling and multisensory integration. My doctoral thesis is on how we manage incoming sensory information to generate suitable decisions and actions, especially when guiding hand movements. Successful manipulation of everyday objects requires the ability to anticipate and recognize the properties of the objects, an ability that is governed by internal models that are adaptive in its origin.
