      As I started working full-time, the company has been undergoing a transformation that included also the change of CEO and almost whole development team. This created a new role for me that required much bigger competencies as providing customer support, designing new relationships with ERPs, specifying and estimating the incoming requirements as well as accommodating to the new team and management. This lead to an acceleration of learning and also bigger impact of my role in the company.

Our system is tied to the client's ERP, so the development involved communicating with Helios and ABRA systems. As part of my role, I incorporated new code sustainability tools into the company and worked to improve the quality of the system. At the same time, I was involved in mentoring high school interns, providing consultations and helping them prepare for their graduation papers. This led to the topic of my thesis, which deals specifically with the experience I gained on the job, which is necessary for quality application development. Show less
