Jan 2017 - Present
I coordinate the Fulbright Program of English Teaching Assistants in the Czech Republic. During each academic year, I work very closely with about 30 young Americans who assist with English language education at various schools all around the country. I assist the grantees prior to their arrival. I plan and organize their in-country orientation, and I keep in close touch with them during their stay in the Czech Republic. I work very closely with Czech teachers, who serve as mentors to the English Teaching Assistants, to support them in their new role and to assist with potential issues. The energy, impact and professional, as well as personal connections that are built via the Program keep me inspired and motivated.

I worked together with American diplomats and Czech specialists within the Political and Economic Section of the Embassy. I conducted research in the area of domestic politics, environment, science, technology and health. My major work partners were officials of the U.S. and Czech government, as well as representatives of local NGOs and the private sector. I planned and managed events and trips, translated documents and interpreted during meetings. One of my favorite tasks was to coordinate public outreach activities of the Section.

My team's CSR projects focused on increasing financial literacy and on socially excluded and/or disadvantaged people. I worked very closely with CSR coordinators on the development of their programs, communication strategy and communication plan. I wrote articles, conducted interviews, and produced PR materials, press releases, as well as graphics.

Communications Intern

Jun 2011 - Jun 2012
In the Communications Department, I promoted impactful stories of RFE/EL journalists in 21 different countries of the broadcast region through articles, interviews and photo stories. I conducted research, represented the organization at local media events, carried out a study of employees' language education training, assisted my senior colleagues with group and special guest visits, translated and interpreted. The opportunity to be a part of this media organization for one year was a fascinating experience.
