Delivered key actions in-line with strategic business objectives and HR budgets, to improve business performance and facilitate change. Acquisition - Sourced and implemented an online recruitment system and developed the employer brand, significantly increasing applicant attraction, reducing cost per hire by 63%, and time to hire from 4-6 weeks to 1-2 weeks. Performance Management - Designed and implemented a performance management system, leading to a significant decrease in capability and disciplinary cases. Carried out monthly management performance reviews, assessing support needs and setting targets and objectives, to achieve business outcomes. Culture & Engagement - Transformed a company suffering from low productivity, poor culture and engagement, and high staff turnover, reducing employee turnover by 51% within the first 6 months through improved recruiting processes, performance management, engagement initiatives, & training. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the forced closure of all sites since March, the company entered administration in June 2020.

Professional accomplishments; Payroll & Benefits Management - Accountable for all compensation and benefits, including complex payrolls (circa £20 million), and compliance of multiple company & TUPE terms & conditions, and legislative requirements. Managing 19 DB & DC pension schemes, a range of benefits, and associated dispensations, PSA’s, and P11D’s. Preparing annual department budgets and project budgets. Streamlined pension schemes via 90 day consultation with employees and trade unions, saving £20 million in the first year Mergers & Acquisitions - Due diligence for numerous mergers and acquisitions. Delivered costings and budgets for, and consulted on and administered, TUPE, restructures, redundancies, and secondments. HRIS Implementation & Development - Led and managed the procurement, implementation & development of a £200k budget HRIS project within a rapid timeframe, delivering an immediate time and cost saving of 1.5 employees, and providing a full ROI cost saving within two years. Led the marketing, communication, and training strategy, to promote the benefits of the system and embed learning.
