Integrated Programme Development Lead
-
Mar 2021 - Present
As the Integrated Programme Development Lead, I work with the Data, Research, Information, Evaluation and Monitoring (DRI) team at Te Pou to support the integration of information based programmes with workforce development initiatives across the mental health and addiction sector. The role is responsible for continuously monitoring New Zealand’s current and emerging health policies, priorities, and practice models to provide strategic guidance to the DRI team manager and Te Pou to enable the organisation to anticipate future scenarios and deliver initiatives that equip the sector to address the divide between insight, foresight, and transformative action. This is particularly important in an environment that does not have up to date prevalence data to support the understanding of the mental health and addiction sector and the people it serves. The role is also responsible for exploring strategic possibilities to integrate internal and external programme activity and understand where gaps may exist to strengthen how data supports workforce development.
