The first impression is mostly the last therefore, the reservation clerk is the first person who can show the perfect image and high profile of the company in order to deliver the good impression and convince the guest to deal with the company for long term. • Be aware of the hotel availability, occupancy, forecast, business on the book, and all details related to rooms’ reservation. • Maintain a good relationship with the producers; ensure that their requests are prioritized. • To ensure that all reservations in the system are as per the hotel guarantee policy. • Ensure all reservations are input in Fidelio with all possible details such as: company name, method of payment, airport transport, arrival time, number of nights, adults, room type, non-smoking, etc. • Be aware of the up-selling technique in order to increase the revenue and average room rate as well. • Reconfirming the reservation details with the guest to prevent any inconvenience. • Handling the hotel website and pick-up the reservations. • Prepare the needed report for the revenue manager such as: B.O.B, market segment report, statistic report, and daily pick-up report. • Ensures a prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of telephone calls Show less
