As the Blog Operations Editor for FAST, UCLA's oldest and largest fashion organization, I assigned and organized the posting schedule for our blog, organized and directed weekly editorial shoots, and oversaw a staff of eight bloggers. Along with the blog's Content Editor, I formatted and published posts using both Blogger and Wordpress platforms, copy edited posts, and creatively directed the blog. I completely updated and revamped FAST's blog with an emphasis on using only FAST's own original editorial material as opposed to stock photography and began a new content creation and publication schedule to maintain regular, quality posting.

Director of Casting

I scheduled hundreds of auditions for HOOLIGAN Theatre's Fall, Winter and Spring repertory shows, worked at the casting desk on audition days to collect dues and check in auditionees, maintained the audition queue to help the process run smoothly, and was the first friendly face representing our company to potential new cast members. I also oversaw our casting staff, scheduled their casting table shifts and ran casting meetings. As a member of Senior Staff, the Director of Casting also attended weekly Senior Staff meetings and worked with other department heads to improve the company.As the Director of Casting, my largest project was producing HOOLIGAN's One Act Festival in the fall, a collection of student directed, performed and written plays. This involved selecting scripts, hiring directors, facilitating casting, booking venues, monitoring each play’s progress, giving notes, marketing the festival, finding costumers, and advising our technical staff.

Working as a Student Assistant for the graduate management studies library at UCLA, I performed a variety of customer service operations and day-to-day tasks that helped the library run smoothly. While writing for The Daily Bruin – UCLA’s Pacemaker Award-winning daily newspaper – I developed crucial skills such as how to follow tight deadlines, pitch new content, and stay up-to-date on all the goings-on in fashion, theater, film & television, and music. I also wrote a weekly music column called “Sounds of LA,” in which I profiled Los Angeles-based musicians. This taught me about finding up-and-coming artists, layering with different forms of multimedia, and constantly pitching new content. I have also trained in APA and MLA-style copy editing.

Showroom Intern

During my time at Factory PR, one of the preeminent Fashion, Lifestyle and Celebrity communications agencies, I learned about the ins and outs of fashion marketing and PR at the company’s newly launched Los Angeles branch. Much of the job involved merchandising the showroom, keeping inventory, stocking and restocking the shelves, conducting research and helping stylists with pulls. Factory PR’s Los Angeles showroom represents the Macy’s in-house brands, Rebecca Valance, Charles Yousef and Betsey Johnson, among others.
