- Multiple opportunities to shadow pharmacists in Psychiatry (both adult and pediatric), Infectious Disease, Adult Oncology, On-call Emergency Department, Cardiac Surgical ICU, and General Pediatrics. - Attended meetings with operations managers hospital wide to develop a procedure to acquire expensive medications to be transferred from one satellite pharmacy to another. The intent of this project will be to mitigate extraneous costs that occur with duplications of purchases that can be localized to one pharmacy. I presented my project to a hospital wide forum to discuss the future of inventory management and what can be impacted beyond expensive medications. - Attended meetings developing the transition of the pharmacy database to the EPIC software.
