I had the great pleasure of working with Kristine Cabrera at Valassis for over 10 years. Kristine was the lead Sales Executive for one of the company’s largest national accounts, where I served as the Client Service Specialist. Her team consisted of a group of over 15 associates, managing over $25MM in business. It is an understatement to say that Kristine is by far, the BEST Sales Executive that I have had the opportunity to work with. Her accounts were high profile, complex and extremely demanding, yet she was always on top of every moving part. Not only was she knowledgeable of Valassis’ products, she also took the time to learn and understand each of her customers in order to offer the best solutions possible. She is a strategic partner that views her customers’ success as her success. During my tenure at Valassis, I attended several client meetings with Kristine and witnessed her WOW them with her knowledge, commitment and dedication to their accounts. It was evident that they viewed Kristine as a true partner; and without her, this multi-million-dollar account would not be the success that it is today. In addition to excelling in client service, Kristine inspired and championed her internal team. She held weekly meetings and kept us informed of upcoming projects, gave us opportunities to share what we were working on and gave us the recognition we deserved.
