I know Kristina very well. We worked together during her time at The Hunger Project. We collaborated on many, many projects together and interacted on a wide variety of operational and strategic program questions. Kristina brings an incredible enthusiasm to everything she does--she's great at building relationships and trust with coworkers across organizations and offices. Her positivity and enthusiasm help teams succeed to deliver more and better than previously expected. She also loves to learn and ask questions--this curiosity will mean teams can clearly articulate their reasons for making decisions and continuously try new things. Kristina will be successful in many roles in her career, but those that allow her to pair her tremendous people skills with her intellectual curiosity will really let her shine.

I had the pleasure of working with Kristina when I joined The Hunger Project as a program/Africa intern, from September to December 2015. Through the time that we spent together in a professional setting, I have seen her dedication as a program associate. She successfully facilitated the management of multiple programs while her coworker was preparing to go on maternity leave; proving herself to be proactive, result oriented, responsible and ready to put all of her energy – even if it demands that she has to work overtime. I am thankful to have worked for a person who was both a supervisor and naturally serves now as a mentor for me. She is someone I would continuously turn to for advice. When she commissioned me to work on evaluating program manuals for THP; I was impressed to see how organized, patience and knowledgeable she was. Whenever I had interrogations or concerns, she responded in a timely manner—and mostly followed up by the end of the day to make sure I didn’t need more clarification. She also arranged a meeting with the program manager so I could get more insights on my presentation structure. Kind and personable are two qualities that really describe her and drove me to do a well-rounded evaluation and offered the best presentation I can. Kristina would definitely be an asset for any positions requiring analytical and strategic thinking skills. I, not only learnt a lot about program from her, but undoubtedly grew as an entry-level professional. I heartily recommend Kristina and would be more than happy to work with her again one day.
