I oversee all operations of the Chamber from answering the phones to organizing events. We have a fabulous organization made up of 160 local businesses. We meet once a month (on the first Wednesday of each month) for lunch to discuss happenings within the Chamber and the area at various local resorts/restaurants/golf clubs. We host a tradeshow style Community Expo event twice a year - 3rd Tuesday of March and 3rd Tuesday of October - in coordination with our popular Candidate Forum. We co-sponsor the 4th of July fireworks with the Village of Fontana. We sponsor the Citizen of the Year awards (one to each deserving nominated community member for each of our 3 surrounding communities) at our May luncheon.

I did everything from balance the daily deposits to greet people at the door. Gordy's was a wonderful restaurant to work at for 6 fabulous years. The Whowell family takes care of it's workers and you become like an extention of their already large family. I went through a lot of personal growth and change while working there and they were supportive and helpful through it all.
