I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kristina for the past one and a half years on an Interactive Japanese Textbook, where she has worked as the author and product manager. During this project, she demonstrated great problem-solving and leadership skills. She has deep insight into the product and cares deeply about the final result. She has high standards with regard to quality and is always looking for ways to improve. As a book producer and author, Kristina created the idea and content of the book. She also showed her marketing skills: she developed the marketing strategy, defined the target audience and product positioning, managed ads on Google, Facebook, and the most popular local websites. As a manager, Kristina prioritizes the well-being and motivation of the team to prevent burn out. During our project, when she noticed that some members of the team were working too hard without rest, Kristina suggested that they take a break in order to work more effectively. Also, Kristina is a great negotiator - whenever our team had arguments regarding certain book spreads, she acted like a strong mediator helping us to find a solution that satisfied all sides.
