Updating employee records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings, deductions, job titles, department, division transfers and manually calculating sick pay weekly to adhere to the newly placed 2016 CA Sick Pay Law. My duties included preparing all employee and employer tax returns and submitting them timely. Knowledge in amending returns as well as the dynamism to keep updated on any Federal, State or local tax laws as they became in to effect. As time went on with Russell Mechanical I also assisted in the order preparation for various job bids to insure the accurate amount of parts where ordered, implemented more efficient tools for tracking sick, vacation, holiday, 1094, 1095, and Workers comp changes throughout the physical year.
