Volunteers For Future (VFF) is a UK-based organisation that delivers free workshops on wildlife conservation and climate change for young people. They work in partnership with the Born Free Foundation, an internationally renowned wildlife charity, and WWF.I support the Founder and Director in recruiting and managing volunteers and schools, scheduling workshops, collating data and feedback, and all other ad hoc tasks.I deliver remote workshops to schoolchildren in UK on behalf of the Born Free Foundation in partnership with VFF. These are aimed at KS1 & KS2 and focus on topics including wildlife conservation, animal rights and climate change.

Volunteer Staff

I spent six weeks in Somaliland assisting with the daily care of 57 young cheetahs and one leopard confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade. The animals are currently being cared for in secure holding facilities in Hargeisa. Work included: feeding, cleaning and enclosure maintenance, butchery and meat preparation, performing varied enrichment activities with the cheetahs, training the cheetahs to get used to medical procedures, assisting with medical checks and veterinary procedures. I also assisted with data management, worked to help set up a new cloud-based database and was responsible for bookkeeping.

With the onset of COVID-19, I worked for a variety of clients on a long-term consultancy basis. Services offered:WEB DEVELOPMENT - Front-end web development (the customer facing side). I create custom-built, beautiful, interactive websites specifically designed to meet your needs. Each project is a collaborative process based around client requirements and budgets. - Competent in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap computer programming languages. COPY-WRITING- Writing, editing and proof-reading, including client reports, articles, blog posts, website copy and marketing content. DIGITAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA- Visual and written content creation for brands and businesses whose aims and products align with my beliefs. - Professional image and video editing and transcribing. - Creation of promotional videos.- Social media management.

Horse Tour Leader & Animal Manager

- Solely responsible for overseeing and running horse safaris at a privately owned wildlife ranch in Namibia. - Responsible for the care of 21 horses, hand-rearing an orphaned foal and several orphaned antelope.- Assisted with the twice daily feeding of eight orphaned captive cheetahs.
