Experience

    • Business Owner
      • Mar 2021 - Present

La Vie Est Belle is a labor of love as a result of our own journey with our daughter courageously living with acute anxiety and a panic disorder that has pivoted our lives and opened our eyes. Through our own experience we discovered a need for a safe community for parents/care providers with a child/children living with mental illness – a need to not feel so alone in the overwhelming and often misunderstood space of mental health. We bravely share our story on our blog page to empower and strengthen other families to collectively help us educate, advocate and reduce stigmas around mental illness to pave a better way for our children/adolescents. Our little store is not a financial endeavor, but a human endeavor. In honor of our beautiful daughter and all others courageously living with a mental illness, 20% of our net profits will be donated to non-profit organizations raising awareness and transforming care for children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a mental health condition. These individuals and families are some of the bravest people we know. As the owner of La Vie Est Belle, LLC, I am responsible for business plan/strategy, marketing, website creation and maintenance, finances, operations and shipping/logistics. I do all of this while balancing being "mom" to three beautiful children and care provider to my oldest daughter. Show less
