      Serve as a Systems Administrator/Help Desk Specialist for the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence – Command Group, providing a wide range of technical expertise in Information Technology processes to customers. Assist functional users regarding equipment operation and maintenance, and use analytical techniques to test and analyze computer equipment malfunctions and software errors. Provide customer service to call center type support to walk-ins, referrals, or telephonic requests from customers requiring assistance in the information technology arena; and, trouble shooting computer hardware and software performance issues. Install, configure and troubleshoot network and application server hardware and operating system software; test and analyze computer hardware and software malfunctions; and maintain a working knowledge of information processing technology, information technology, computer capabilities, and processing techniques. Maintain security measures and vulnerabilities by creating user network account and secure network accounts. Ensure that users have completed Information Awareness Training (NIPR) and Derivative Classification Training (SIPR). Work closely with local network enterprise center staff to ensure security violations and incidents are properly documented and reported. Update SharePoint database for the purpose of documenting service tickets for technical support. Manage permissions for SharePoint at site collection administrator level to maintain security measures. Upgrade and install all workstations with new technology and software. Maintain system administrator level privileges in support of user accounts. Use advanced diagnostic utilities to recover lost files, folders, disk, and memory problems. Assist with Blackberry and Apple troubleshooting and product activation.
