  I spent the last six years helping my children successfully negotiate high school and life. My oldest child was diagnosed with autism at a young age. He did well until high school when I needed to take a more active role negotiating individual education plans for him. After high school I had to traverse red tape to get services for him. I also had to manage my daughters education. She has audio processing problems. Individual education plans were needed for her. Freshman year she was actually put on academic probation, she graduated this year as a New Hampshire Honor Student. I must be very good at navigating the education system. Show less
