  My role is to conduct and coordinate Genealogical research on behalf of the BTPSM pertaining to participants in the Boston Tea Party, and major players in Revolutionary-era Boston, to build the museum’s Living Descendants Program, to collaborate and network with Boston historical institutions in preparation for the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in 2023, and to assist in the museum’s Historic Grave Marker Project, placing commemorative markers at the graves of all known and confirmed participants in the Boston Tea Party. In addition, I am expected to assist in character development training for first-person interpreters on site, help with character research, compile a database for use in training within the Creative Department, all of which will help expand our character card program for daily use at the museum, and lead to the development of new educational programming, as well as the launch of a research database to be used by living descendants and independent researchers who are examining this event in history.
