I completed the 3 month Marketing Training Class (MTC 112) where I learned both about Caterpillar's product line and how Caterpillar works as a corporation. I worked in Large Mining Truck (LMT) Marketing in Decatur, IL for a year. Here I did 4 rep ride-alongs, assisted with 4 scale and production studies and 1 truck assembly, visited 13 mine sites, worked on Pricelist Reference Documents for the LMT product line, and various other projects. I completed a 2 month rotation in Job Site Solutions (JSS) where I worked with a JSS commercial manager.       Research - I worked for the Mining Department on research related to each state's use of MSHA funds toward training. Teacher's Assistant - I was a TA for the lab portion of Mine Ventilation for a semester my senior year. This included helping to set up labs, helping students during lab, helping with the mine ventilations survey, and assisting students when requested with reports. Admissions - I was a Student Ambassador for 2.5 years (a Head Student Ambassador for 1 year). This included giving hour long tours of campus to prospective students, participating in Preview Mines and Discover Mines events, and being a resource about campus information. Athletics - I worked for the athletic department helping with ticket sales at events as well as general office work. I also assisted the wrestling team with meets, tournaments, and recruiting.
