  As a Fellow, I have led research projects and supported work done by the Cultivating Resilient and Strong Opinion Leaders (CRiSOL) team. This has included designing and assembling a 10-module curriculum for Latino immigrants including training in HIV, domestic violence, mental health, substance use, motivational interviewing and research skills; participating in qualitative data analysis through transcription and coding interviews of staff members and participants in two community-based programs, using Dedoose qualitative analysis software; and designing and administered an inter-organizational collaboration research survey of 43 Latino-serving organizations using Qualtrics

  As a Research Analyst and Administrative Technician, I supported various data, reporting and grant-writing needs of CSFD's care coordination program for 9-1-1 and hospital frequent callers and mobile mental health programs. Major activities included: • Supporting program development for Division programs including a 9-1-1 and hospital super-utilizer intervention program (Community Assistance Referral & Education Services or CARES) and a mobile mental and behavioral health crisis response unit • Winning $450,000 in grant funding for additional medical and behavioral health navigators, telemedicine monitors for a mobile mental health crisis team, and purchasing a new vehicle for patient home visits • Implementing new data-gathering procedures and formatting for program evaluations and prepared reports on program capacity and potential program success metrics, designed standard operating procedures for a developing community paramedicine program and designed and implemented an Access-based records database • Facilitating conversations with nine Colorado fire departments to begin a statewide mobile integrated healthcare demonstration project; work is ongoing, evaluation scheduled to begin in August 2017 • Coordinating the implementation of an internet-based care coordination tool and oversaw the transition of paper records to online patient records • Began an internal process improvement program by reviewing policies, journals and manuals to research health behavior change, emergency tiered response systems and city-wide health needs assessments, auditing patient charts and conducting bi-monthly intra-department program improvement and training meetings with four different employee sections
