I wrote about Air Force criminal justice, the Inspector General, the Air Force medical service and Air Mobility Command, traveling to bases across the continental United States and as far away as Afghanistan. I covered the basic training scandal at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, of 2011 and 2012 and was the first to report an Air Force general's controversial 2013 decision to overturn a sexual assault conviction, which ultimately led to changes in the way the military handles these crimes.
