I was responsible for the East Coast during my tenure which was from Maine to Florida and carried out to San Antonio, TX. Our client would want to purchase hundreds of phone lines, some with name attached and some one eight hundred numbers. We would work with the installers to find out which numbers needed to be in a pattern and which numbers need to dial out. We would work with the long distance and local carriers to get them good rates and establish the services. We would bill the services for them and troubles shoot any issues. During my time it was my responsibility to put out fires where I could. I had two people working under my supervision and I dealt with all day to day issues. I met with clients to set up service, introduce myself in order to achieve client satisfaction. It was a job full of juggling several large telephone companies both local and long distance to meet the needs of the customer. Show less

I would travel by ambulance to the location where a person was sick or injured and it was our job to handle the situation and offer help the patient. We calm sick or injured individuals, offer calming reassurance and listen to their needs while simultaneously stabilizing their injuries. It is a requirement to be able to control emotionally charged situations. We calm sick or injured individuals, offer calming reassurance and listen to their needs while simultaneously stabilizing their injuries. This job included establishing IV’s, giving medications, transporting patients to the hospital and monitored their vital signs. Vital signs included EKG’s, Blood Pressures, Pulse and Respirations. In this position there were several times when I was called upon to make split second life and death decisions. Communication to the receiving facility was done both verbally and via our computer generated report to explain the patient’s care they had received during their time in my care. This was for a greater continuity of care. As a Lead Paramedic and a Field Training Officer it was my job to train new Paramedics coming to the job. To instruct junior paramedics and EMT basics and assist others to grow in their career. We also co-operated with Fire Departments and Police Departments while on scenes for mutually beneficial relationships. Show less

During that period additional schooling was required in Crystal Reports Writing for the manipulation of data. All of the teachers were instructed on the use of the Grade Book by me and I also assisted during their inputting. At the time, each school was responsible for its own web page, so I designed and maintained the Lincoln Park Elementary Web Page. I worked closely with the teachers on their computer lab lessons and did daily morning news broadcast with the students. Show less
