  Third Grade Lead Teacher 2018 - Present - Leader for third grade math planning over all Brooke Charter School campuses during remote learning in the 2020 – 2021 school year. This includes responsibility for adjusting and following pacing guides, translation of lessons into a digital format, creation of digital spiral review, and running math data meetings to make lessons and content responsive to student data. - Solely responsible for the coaching, development, and success of an Associate Teacher annually from 2018 – 2021 on the instruction of various subjects across multiple grade levels, observing and providing weekly feedback, and conducting monthly evaluation meetings. Proven track record of success as a teacher coach demonstrated by offers of full-time employment each year for all Associate Teachers under my guidance within the Brooke network. - Led continuous improvement of units and lessons in reading, writing, grammar, social studies, and math for use across the grade level through extensive revision and, in some cases, development from scratch.   - Independently designed a six session course on building thoughtful, strategic readers in grades K -4. The course focused on exploring basic principles of comprehension instruction, practicing engaging comprehension strategies to use throughout all stages of reading (before, during, and after), and collaborating on how to effectively plan for and incorporate these strategies daily teaching schedules. - Delivered 18 hours of in person professional development to two different cohorts of around 20 teachers that counted towards PDP points for educators from Boston Public Schools. - Qualified as an adjunct professor, as the course also counted towards graduate level credit at UMASS Boston. - Responsible for grading and providing feedback to adult learners on weekly assignments for the sessions and on final portfolios with artifacts for those who wanted to receive graduate credit.
