  In concert with the American Council on Education, the Michigan ACE Women's Network is committed to identifying, developing the leadership of, advancing, and supporting the retention of women in higher education throughout the state. As a member of the Executive Board, the focus leans towards work engaging college and university presidents and their statewide associations to facilitate interaction between women with executive potential and chief executive officers in the state; such interaction is designed to acquaint hiring officials with the availability of a substantial leadership talent pool of women in the higher education leadership pipeline. As a Lansing Community College Institutional Representative, I work directly with Lansing Community College women to promote and encourage their participation in opportunities for leadership development and advancement of women. In 2013, I also agreed to begin serving as Board Member Assistant Chair to the Institutional Representative Committee and a member of the organization's Public Policy Committee.
