      While at Apsiro guiding adjudicated youth and young adults I preformed many tasks ranging from; -Safely lead them through various therapeutic based itineraries such as: mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, and canyoneering. -Facilitate and teach the students the hard skills required to perform the itineraries above. - Lead intentional groups with the students on communication, trust, team building, and self empowerment . -Reporting back to their therapist on the students progress or regression, along with sitting in on their therapy sessions at resupplies. - Trained on how to handle and de-escalate high stress situations from suicidal idealizations to student run away's. - Teaching the students basic survival skills such as how to back country cook, stay warm, the importance of hydrating, geology, and basic self care while out in the wilderness. -Towards the end of employment at Apsiro I assisted in logistics of vans, groups, equipment, and in-taking new student and processing students out of our program.
