I have known Kristi for 20 years since we worked together at the City Parish Planning Commission in Baton Rouge. She is diligent, energetic, and always positive in tense situations. She earned her college degree while working full time and raising a family. Her example inspired me to pursue a Masters' degree (while working full time and raising a family) and every time I felt pressured, I remembered how Kristi persevered. She is a role model for anyone who thinks that the pursuit of excellence is beyond them.
