Intern
-
Jan 2018 - May 2018
My main responsibility as an intern is facilitating a program for middle school girls called Game on, Girl. Throughout the duration of the program, I teach the girls different sports including: soccer, basketball, flag football, volleyball and lacrosse. I also talk to them and teach them about things like personal hygiene, stress management and just making healthy choices in general. I am also the ambassador for another program through the nonprofit called “Safe Routes to School”. I go to Ginter Park Elementary and promote children safely walking/biking to school. The goal is to give children all the knowledge they need to make healthy choices and to be able to become a healthy adult. Show less
