Motorola Solutions Foundation engaged Business Volunteers Maryland to take point on our 2022 Galvin Masters Day of Service in Baltimore. For some background - the Galvin Masters Day of Service is the most complex, hands-on volunteer project our team supports each year and is ultimately, a construction based service project that typically involves woodworking, landscaping, painting, and highly impactful transformation of space. Many companies say this about their hands-on volunteer service projects, but the Galvin Masters group truly takes their work to the next level. Coupled with pandemic delays and challenges with a previous project that was supposed to take place in New Orleans, hiring BVM in early spring 2022 was essential given our new condensed timeline. Simply put, we would not have been able to execute on this project without Kristen and BVM. Kristen skillfully managed project timelines, ordered a significant number of supplies and managed said deliveries, served as a liaison between our team and the nonprofit partner, and connected us to resources and other groups within the Baltimore volunteer community. Needless to say, Kristen went above and beyond for the Motorola Solutions team. Kristen's organized, communicative, resourceful, dedicated, and a joy to work with, and someone whose ideas, recommendations and project management talents have made an impact on our team for future projects as well. Thank you, Kristen!
