Originally hired as a drafter, designer and estimator, I have progressed into the role of Coordinator of Design & Drafting. My responsibilities include: - determine internal schedules, deadlines and order of operations for drafters, designers and estimators in order to meet deadlines and client expectations- create accurate design drawings, construction drawings and 3D renderings- supervise other drafters to produce accurate design drawings, construction drawings and 3D renderings, including training - obtain all building permits including working with HRM building officials, engineers, bylaws and building codes- complete lumber material and hardware take offs for outdoor deck projects - coordinate sold projects through to the ‘ready for construction’ phase
