I have had the opportunity of be part of a simulation where I teach a class of 5th graders. This was a great opportunity because it provided me with experience of providing a lesson for the students as well as use any accommodations or adaptations that would help my students access the lesson and better understand the material. Sim school provided background information on each student such as work habits, social traits and learning environment. This helped me to better understand each student and which instructional strategies would work best for their learning. Show less
