Buenos Aires Ministry of Modernization

  Summer internship with the Ministry of Modernization of the City of Buenos Aires. Worked with projects to environmentally improve the city, promote development, and minimize the digital divide. Work included translating documents to and from both Spanish and English, researching successful projects in other cities such as Toronto and Vienna, and writing applications for awards such as the WeGo awards.



Bicycles Against Poverty

  Member of the development and executive committees of BAP, a fledgling Bucknell-founded organization that provides Bicycles to internally displaced persons in northern Uganda. Currently, BAP is undergoing the process of 501(c)(3) certification to become a registered nonprofit. Served as President of the Bucknell chapter from 2010-2011.



Ten Thousand Villages

  Worked as a sales associate at a fair-trade, not-for-profit store, which involved sharing information about the artisans, materials, and methods behind the products, as well as teaching customers about fair trade practices.



Kumon

  Taught children, varying in ages from years three to twelve, math and reading skills. Served as the head of the center’s Junior Kumon Center for children in pre-school and kindergarten.
