Citi has a large and competitive Internship program with thousands of applicants. Kristen stood out with Citi’s service center located in Tampa Florida. At the beginning of Kristen’s internship I explained to her that a key objective for ESC is to provide her with things of value to carry away once her time with ESC is complete. ESC would expose her to the field of project management, she would learn about the role of Cross Border Data in global Enterprise Supply Chains and its challenges, We challenged her to apply her skills collaboratively with other team members. Kristen delivered several projects in the brief time she had to complete them. Kristen designed and implemented a SharePoint site with embedded document sharing and formatting that achieves a Real-Time reporting capability between two disparate sources. In completing this project Kristen fought with the available functionality and the competing requirements of several different managers. Kristen saw firsthand the challenges managers are faced with in Project Portfolio Management and communicating the right information to the right audiences. The final product is in use now! It provides ready access to needed data with little to no data maintenance requirement. Enterprise Supply Chain has an existing challenge in acquiring

My time at ModSpace developed my professionalism and ability to multi-task in the fast paced construction industry. As the Tampa Operations Specialist, I served a region of over 10 counties in scheduling deliveries, relocations, and pickup of mobile offices and storage units. My professional and timely communications between sales, operations, support, and clients maximized the organization’s effectiveness and overall customer satisfaction. One notable project I initiated, was an accurate management database for all of our assets, which was then adopted by three nearby branches to maximize contracts won for the region. I planned logistics scheduling with several varieties vendors for over 35 building projects and providing continuous follow-up of progress to ensure a mutually satisfactory resolution. Show less

College STEM Tutor
-
Aug 2014 - May 2016
Working as a tutor while being a student myself was very challenging. I effectively identified pupils' current knowledge and abilities, then communicated a variety of STEM concepts to my fellow engineering students. I loved creating a space to challenge students to think deeply and improve. Knowing I facilitated in their learning and seeing the light bulb in their heads illuminate when they solved a problem was very rewarding.

I worked during the busy summer season at Regal Cinemas rotating job titles as an usher, box office tender, and concession servant. In the short time I was at Regal, I enjoyed greeting movie-goers, upselling our products, and my holding responsibility of closing out the different areas of the theatre.
