The Director of Human Resources is responsible for: Business and Strategic Management: Generate, implement and report on Strategic Plan goals and Scorecard targets related to human resources. Staffing and retention: Ensure organization obtains, onboards, develops and retains talent needed to meet its goals. Employee relations: Coach managers on positive employee relations. Create systems to resolve conflicts and complaints. Elicit employee input on business decisions. Design employee feedback mechanisms. HRD: Plan learning opportunities and development that assist the organization to achieve its mission and goals, including teaching the values and best practices related to person-centered services. Ensure learning opportunities over the employee life cycle, including career ladder, mentorships, EARN grant, leadership opportunities, coaching employees and creating development plans. Total rewards: Design employee incentives, compensation, benefits and rewards to attract and retain staff. Oversee open enrollment process, broker relationship, and relationships with third party administrators. Address rising health care costs through creative alternatives such as HRA and self-funding.
