I am a member of the lab's clinical gene therapy team that performs lab work associated with our various clinical trials. In our current ADA-SCID clinical trial, I process long term follow up and current patient blood samples and am involved in manufacturing cell products up to GMP standards. I also run assays necessary for release of our cell products for patient use.

I collaborated with Orchard Therapeutics to validate an enzymatic assay for clinical application. Additionally, I contributed data to a study in which an adeno-associated viral vector was coupled with ex vivo gene therapy to create a bimodal model of gene therapy treatment for ADA-SCID in ADA-deficient mice.
