Worked with the Ohio Health Research and Innovation Institute on their Amish and Mennonite Breast Cancer research project. I focused on researching different alternative medicines that women in the different populations are using to treat various illnesses, including breast cancer, and the successful of these different therapies. I created a presentation to show at the different breast cancer screenings to explain what alternative medicine is and how to better understand your health care decisions. I also helped to create a different research project on the successful of a question map, which I developed, on helping the community be more proactive with their health care decisions.
