Manager Network Engineering and Operations for GVTC is responsible for the engineering and daily operations for our voice, video, and data networks. We manage and operate a Metaswitch VoIP switch. We manage and operate a Metaswitch VoIP switch. We also operate a very robust IP Ethernet network capable of both layer 2 and 3 and is fully MPLS enabled. We also run a very robust video headend with three remote headends. These headends provide both standard and high definition digital programming as well as VOD and PPV services. We operate both FTTH and HFC networks to deploy our video services. Our IP Ethernet network provides multiple data technologies which include DSL, Cable Modem, FTTH, and direct fiber access. In addition to customer internet access our data network also provides cellular backhaul over fiber to the major cellular providers in our service area.
