I started at PC World as a Helpdesk Customer Service Adviser. This initial role focussed on dealing with refunds, customer complaints, paid and warranty installations. I did this position for 12 months. I then moved into sales and for the next two years primarily sold "gadgets" to customers - the first digital cameras (less than 1 Mega-pixel) - digital music players (before iPod) - Palm / Psion and Compaq Ipaq handheld computers (using Windows CE). With successful sales of digital technology I then progressed into the Hardware sales of PCs and Laptops, dealing with the general public and on occasions local businesses.
