Kris is a true professional with strong experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit sector. I had the opportunity to work with Kris in several different roles at Team Red, White and Blue. I first got to know Kris as a volunteer leader in the San Francisco chapter, where she served on the leadership team. She is well-respected by organizational leaders, teammates, and by the volunteers she leads across the West Region. Additionally, Kris was hand-selected into the Eagle Leader Fellowship program, a year-long scholarship for emerging leaders. In this program, she helped lead and plan large-scale events, build the chapter development program, and helped create leadership development content, used to train new volunteer leaders in the organization. Kris is a highly recognized top performer and was hired into Team Red, White and Blue as a Regional Program Manager in 2017. Kris continues to play an instrumental role in helping to lead and professionalize the West Region. She leads without authority and works closely to inspire volunteer leaders across Team Red, White, and Blue. She is compassionate, meticulous, results-driven, and thoughtful. Her ability to innovate and deliver on key programs with limited resources demonstrates her willingness to roll up her sleeves to achieve organizational goals. She inspires others though her leadership, clear communication, and authenticity. Kris knows how to navigate challenges, unite her team towards a common purpose, and deliver results. She fosters teamwork and inclusion across a geographically dispersed team to move the mission of the organization forward. She understands how to drive business development opportunities and partner with key external partners to deliver on key objectives. Additionally, Kris had to step up and lead the region autonomously for nearly a year, in one of the most challenging geographies. She is a true leader. I can’t think of a better professional to have on your team.

I have nothing but praise for Kris, both professionally and personally. I worked for, and with, Kris as counsel for the Walnut Creek Manor, a senior living project that Kris managed for 16 plus years. I worked directly with Kris for a majority of those years. Kris and I regularly dealt with sensitive issues, and I was consistently and repeatedly impressed by the reasoned judgment that Kris brought to each and every hurdle we encountered together. Kris offers a rare combination of hard nosed business sense balanced by an appropriate measure of compassion. There were many instances in which I struggled to envision a solution to problems we were confronting that would permit us in the end to walk away from the circumstances feeling good about the result both from a business and personal perspective. But somehow Kris always seemed to strike that delicate balance in a way that made me proud to be a part of her team. Having worked with Kris for as long as I did, it was impossible not to become friends. I am proud of my affiliation with Kris and remain confident that although we no longer work together, she will always be there for me, as I will be for her. I could not recommend Kris more enthusiastically for just about anything she expressed an interest in. She is a winner and someone who would make any team she joined stronger as a result of her presence.
